Discover how Pensió La Creu has evolved from a hairdresser's to a cozy accommodation in constant renovation. We invite you to learn about our mission of providing close treatment, quality and tranquility in a mountainous environment.
Pensión La Creu was born after the Gallart Brué family reinvented themselves, transitioning from a family with a hair salon to creating the first part of a guesthouse that would later expand. The cross located in the square just in front of the establishment gave it its name. This cross was placed by the French in memory of people who fell during one of the Carlist Wars. The cross dates back to the 17th century and is a funerary stele moved from another location.
In the year 2000, the family expanded the guesthouse by acquiring the adjacent building, increasing the number of rooms from 13 to 21. Since the expansion, La Creu has been a meeting point for friends, families, and tourists.
Currently, the Gallart Brué family continues to be present in the establishment, although they have delegated management to start a transition period.
Pensió La Creu has never stopped operating and is now undergoing a transition to digitize the accommodation and update its image. The mission of this project is to continue identifying ourselves as a mountain establishment with a personal touch, renewing our image, and adapting to new challenges and current needs. Our values will continue to be based on hospitality, personal service, quality, tranquility, and sensitivity to the environment.
Jaume together with Adelina have been the "parents" of the project since it started, along with the help of their children. This idea would not be possible without the Human Team that also accompanies us and that shares the same enthusiasm for this pension.
